Old Pink City Jaipur India | Trip to India





Hawa Mahal is exactly like its name- breezy and oh yes, it springs on you out of thin air. Located in the bustling old city area, you would never think that this beautiful structure exists in all that chaos. The facade is so breathtaking that you will, for a moment, lose sight and sense of all of the world that is coming at you from every direction. Walk past and enter the Mahal and you are in a dizzying maze of stairs, open spaces, jharokas or windows and lots and lots of stained glass. The colored windows and glass decorations are a great spot for some artistic photography.

We had a walking tour of a shopping area in the old walled city of Jaipur. We went  through narrow lanes, bazaars. We tried a sample of food products as well.
